What a great analysis of a great film. I’m claiming ‘brownie’ points (pun intended) for always having thought this was Anna’s story and totally agree that the film works so well because the traditional roles have been reversed so cleverly.

Your break down of the brownie scene (and again I agree, it’s a brilliant scene for direction, acting, and writing) is really good and hugely enjoyable to read.
