Very possibly - but one can only imagine the austerity measures that may have been applied with a Tory majority at that time. Appreciate what you’re saying, of course, but the point remains that the Tories have not been in power for 15 years, nor were they in control during the crash of 2007-08 and the subsequent bank bail outs.
